HMD Secure delivers sovereign, mission-critical mobile solutions for governments, defence organisations, first responders, critical infrastructure operators, and regulated enterprises. Headquartered in Finland, HMD Secure designs and develops secure terminals that serve as the core operational platform for communications, applications, and field operations.

Our secure terminals act as the central integration point within a broader ecosystem combining software platforms, managed services, modular accessories, and trusted partner solutions. Built on AI-enabled chipsets, HMD Secure terminals support local data processing and AI inference, enabling real-time decision-making at the edge while maintaining data sovereignty.

Around the terminals, the Secure Partner Platform (SPP) provides the governance and orchestration framework for the ecosystem. It enables access to AOSP source code and lifecycle updates while allowing organisations to deploy validated third-party operating systems, applications, and services within a controlled environment.

The platform is further extended through modular tactical and industrial accessories, securely attachable through the Fusion interface, enabling mission-specific capabilities such as radio integration, advanced connectivity, sensors, or tactical docking. A curated ecosystem of trusted third-party services complements the platform with mission-critical communications, enterprise mobility management, connectivity services, and operational applications.

The portfolio includes HMD Ivalo XE, a secure smartphone designed and manufactured in Europe for defence and government environments, and HMD Terra M, a rugged communication device designed for public safety and critical infrastructure operations.
